lazy days

It's always nice to know you have a day off with the light of your life. We've had a rocky year with things but at the end of the day, curling up in bed together is still the highlight and makes all other bumps just go away.

Going to meet a few people from our Warcraft guild today. This ought to be fun.

I can't say my life is on autopilot at the moment but as far as new things to report, there's nothing. I go work, eat, play Warcraft, cuddle Jeff, sleep, wash, rinse, repeat. I've started taking photos again here and there to keep myself in practice but can already see that I'm losing my touch. Discouragement is a hard thing to conquer.

I've come to the realization that I like small books. Not just the minibooks you find everywhere but small, 4x6 size ones. I picked up the Tao Te Ching in hardcover last night about that size and love just running it through my hands. It's like a comfort object, in a weird way. I worship books.

The new BAMM is open for business and we're ready to strangle customers already for messing up our shelves. I passed into my twenty-fourth year as well without much hooplah. I think I'm just working on rebuilding right now. Almost done.
